The Orange County Business Journal (OCBJ) has recently released its “People On the Move” list for 2018. This list highlights and honors business professionals who are either improving their careers or improving their communities through continued efforts to achieve greatness. It is with much pride that our team at Cohn & Swartzon in Orange County can announce Attorney Saar Swartzon was featured due to his recent appointment as Vice Chairman to The Wooden Floor organization.
First founded in 1983, The Wooden Floor is a nonprofit organization focused on using unique methods to encourage youth development, creativity, and readiness for rewarding careers through higher education. The Wooden Floor gets its namesake from the fact that it uses creative dance – which is practiced on wooden floors – to instill children, teenagers, and young adults with powerful lessons of innovation, communication, and cooperation. In a truly remarkable show of dedication to its own cause, every student who graduates from The Wooden Floor has gone on to enroll in higher education to further their successes and set them up for incredible futures.
Attorney Swartzon is honored to be able to play such an integral role as Vice Chairman for such an amazing organization. Along with Arthur Ong, who was appointed as the Board Chairman, and the other members of the 2017-2018 Board of Directions, he plans on keeping up with The Wooden Floor’s traditions of greatness and child-centric growth.
