- Tripping hazards: Electronic decorations all around the house mean more power cords. Do not attempt to stuff them under carpeting, where it could bunch up and cause people to trip. Instead, get a professional cord concealer or run them along walls.
- Barkeep: One of the worst dangers that can arise from a fun holiday party is overconsumption of alcohol, specifically if the consumer needs to drive home later that night. Collect keys from any drinkers and have a designated “barkeep” stay sober throughout the night and only return keys to people who are safe to drive.
