Saar Swartzon Awarded by Martindale-Hubbell & Super Lawyers

We are pleased to announce Attorney Saar Swartzon’s 2017 AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell, an award he earned based on his commitment to excellence in the personal injury field. He was also named in the 2018 Southern California Super Lawyers list.

Martindale-Hubbell is a distinguished rating organization that has provided quality rating services since 1868. Using an extensive review process, the organization identifies law firms and individual attorneys who uphold the highest standards of excellence and achievement in their fields of practice. Similarly, Super Lawyers uses a number of factors to rank law firms and practicing attorneys on their commitment to excellence.

What Is the Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent Award?

Martindale-Hubbell grants 3 different awards to law firms and individuals. The first is the Notable award, granted to attorneys who display strong ethical standards. The second is the Distinguished award, granted to attorneys who display a high level of professional achievements and ethical standards. The third (referred to as AV Preeminent) is the highest award granted by the organization. It is given only to attorneys who have reached the highest level of professional achievement and excellence, and who display a commitment to the highest ethical and moral standards.

The Martindale-Hubbell organization rates lawyers on 5 factors:

  1. Legal knowledge
  2. Analytical capabilities
  3. Good judgment
  4. Communication skills
  5. Legal experience

Attorneys are also rated on their general ethical standards, including reliability, diligence, professional conduct, and more. Each candidate goes through an anonymous peer review rating process, where they are judged on each factor using a scale of 1 to 5. Once all votes are tallied, the organization announces award winners.

What Is the Super Lawyers List?

The Super Lawyers organization evaluates candidates through a 4-step process. This involves nomination, independent research, peer review, and final selection. Candidates are rated on 12 factors to determine their professional and legal abilities, and only those in the top 5% are selected for the annual list. Attorney Swartzon has received this award for his legal experience, dedication to client satisfaction, and reputation among the legal community.
